Key Dates

Council will receive the 2024 Proposed Budget at this Special Meeting at 7 pm in Council Chambers at 424 3rd Avenue West. Following this meeting, the City will launch our public engagement software, Balancing Act, where community members can directly weigh in on spending priorities. Our comprehensive Proposed Budget Document - which explains spending priorities and impacts - will be made available after the meeting as well. 

City staff will share proposed 2024 Budget information at this community session at Coast Mountain College November 9th from 7 pm - 8:30 pm.  This is the first of two public engagement opportunities for the community to come out and hear more about the budget and provide input to staff. Information collected will be shared with Council before the adoption of the budget to help inform decision making. 

This is the second opportunity for the City to receive public input and take questions on the proposed 2024 Budget. This session will be held in Council Chambers at 424 3rd Avenue West at 7 pm, and all information collected will help to inform Council's decision making process around the 2024 Budget.
