City Continuing to Consider Additional Parking in Area

PRINCE RUPERT, SEPTEMBER 11th, 2023 – The City is advising residents and Cow Bay merchants that the sale of a portion of property located on Cow Bay Road, currently used for parking, is no longer proceeding. The City will continue on with plans to develop additional parking in the area. Recent road work on 1st Avenue East will also result in an additional 7 or more parking spaces..

The City remains open to receiving proposals for developments on City owned-properties, and encourages interested parties to reach out to Paul Vendittelli, the Director of Economic Development and Transportation, if you are interested, by calling (250) 627 5138 or emailing paul.vendittelli@princerupert.ca.
