The City of Prince Rupert, School District 52 and Ecotrust Canada have been collaborating over the past year to develop an Action Plan and Strategy to support the development of local food both through policy changes and food-based programming. We've done some early community engagement, and we're ready to share additional information on upcoming projects with the community. We also want your feedback on what has been developed so far, and this portal is where we do that.
We're also giving space for the community to share gardening tips - because we know that without a greenhouse, our weather can turn even the greenest thumbs brown.
See below for news updates, surveys, a map to share community food assets, and more.
UPDATE : Please note that our Community Food Survey has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who took time to provide feedback.
