Welcome to the City's online portal for providing feedback on our communications. We'd like to better understand how you prefer to receive information from us, the kinds of information you are looking for, and how we can improve. Your feedback is an important part of the process.

Did you know? The City currently has a mobile application for smartphones and the web that provides access to residents to information in a number of areas. The existing features on our mobile app are as follows:

  • Push notifications about construction related traffic impacts, news items, and emergency alerts (the City also has a separate emergency alert system that will send a text/voice message to your phone - and you can sign up at https://princerupert.connectrocket.com/)
  • City brochures on topics like development permits, parking regulations downtown and in Cow Bay, dog licensing, building, and more.
  • Points of Interest - this currently includes Recreation, Landmarks and Services
  • Digital Forms - includes Public Works Reporting Form, Knotweed Reporting Form, Bylaw form and general Feedback Form
  • Link to Recycle Coach (also a separate app that can be downloaded to sign up for push notifications for your waste pick up schedule, here: https://recyclecoach.com/)

Why are we bringing this up? Our existing online platform that hosts our current app was recently acquired by another company, so the City is in the process of migrating over our app content to this new platform, and we wanted to take the opportunity to revisit what kind of information our residents might want to get from us.
